This shot was taken long ago, back in July of 2005. I always liked it, but never processed it for some reason. Flipping through some of my old shots, I decided that I was in need of some summer. I woke up at 5am that morning to catch the sunrise. This shot was taken just before the sun came up, looking to the south. That’s Avalon in the background. That was also the same morning that I took some of the first shots that I posted on this blog: Looking for Shells and Morning Walk
