There are days when everything seems ugly, and those are the days when you need something beautiful to remind you that everything is what it is. Today is an ugly day… and it is what it is. But this is sea lion is what she is, and she is something beautiful.

I have posted this song multiple times in the past, but it’s also among the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. It also happens to be perhaps the best song about losing someone that has ever been written. Should you have an ugly day of loss, and we all do from time to time, may this song remind you of the fragility, but also the beauty of life.
