Song of the Day: Kevin Drew - Safety Bricks
Broken Social Scene’s mastermind has released his debut “solo” album, even if over 15 artists worked on it. It’s a little bit more mellow than You Forgot It In People, but no less hypnotizing. I offer very high recommendations for this song and album - Spirit If… is an album I had not been anticipating (mostly because I hadn’t heard anything about it), but may very well become one of my favorite releases of the year.

oh, forgot to mention. BSS’s Kevin Drew; great to see all of the BSS contributors out on their own. Both Feist’s and Apostle of Hustle’s (whiteman) new releases are awesome. Stars is pretty good, too.
