I Don't Do Too Much Talking These Days

This is Dan. Dan is a good friend of mine from CIMI, and is currently surfing the garbage out of Costa Rica with his girlfriend Caitlin. This was taken at a party in which I believe Dan was dressed like one of the Beastie Boys. He has a remarkable likeness to Jesus.

If you’re in a good mood today, there is no better band to script your soundtrack than The New Pornographers. Between Carl Newman and Neko Case, there are very few duos that provide more upbeat melodies that beg to be listened to (and sung) loudly. If you see someone skipping and running down the streets screaming melodies to the sky, there’s a good chance it’s me listening to The New Pornographers. Fear not the slightly odd band name as this band is pure, clean exuberance. Their albums are consistently wonderful, and From Blown Speakers from The Electric Version is representative of the focus on melody, harmony, and celebration. The New Pornographers do not intend to change the music world or usher in a new era of expression, but these Canadians certainly succeed in making some of the catchiest, most fun power pop in existence. Undoubtedly one of the best listening choices you can make if you’re prone to an energetic, enthusiastic disposition. Enjoy yourself and blow some speakers out listening to this track.

Methinks that it is closer to Rasputin. :-) A stunningly well done photograph.
