Burn This City

This is a view of White’s Landing from the top of Red Mountain at about 9PM. As a result of the 20 minute exposure, Los Angeles looks like it’s on fire. Unfortunately, it was cloudy that night, so no star trails are visible, but at least the clouds provided the ruddy coloration from reflected light pollution in L.A.
Very cool. I’m impressed you were able to get so much detail in the foreground. I also like the way the ridge line in the lower left corner of the image mimics the light trail left by the boat pulling out the harbor.
Did you mean for that to be the title on September 11?
Tulls this photo is AMAZING. You should be so proud of it. the way the lights from the boats mirror the light from the skyline is incredible, and the squiggly line through the water, be it a moving boat or a bridge or whatever it is, really just looks like lighting in the water. and the grass and hills in the foreground are so clear, its almost like two different shots you cut and fit together. Its a beautiful, beautiful shot. I love it.
That’s a great shot, and looks like a great spot!
I love the variety of light and texture and color in this shot.. very interesting.
Beautiful - very very appealing!
