Whale's Tale

We went on a ”shark” chum on Easter morning, and, as always, didn’t see any sharks. We did however, have 3 gray whales join the party. We saw a mother, a calf, and an escort heading north to get up to their feeding grounds off of Alaska. We were rewarded with some close-up views and a lot of fluking.
To make everything even cooler, almost our whole staff was out there, along with two of my good friends from pre-Catalina life, Victor and Alan. And we even managed to keep Victor from harpooning them.
