Foggy Dreams

I can’t remember the name of this creek, but it was pretty astounding that morning. Fog had enshrouded the whole coastline, and you wouldn’t have known the ocean from a lake if not for the smell of the salty air. Kind of a boring landscape shot, but there’s some sort of calming air about it.

I’m not a big Ted Leo fan, but when I was unemployed after a few months of traveling in my post-college days, this song was one of a bunch of tunes that kept me happy and sane through my job search. Both ”happy” and ”sane” are relative terms, naturally.
