The Jumper

Well, I have to say, aside from Jonny and Austriaka’s comments Thursday, that was an impressively indifferent response to the sea urchin series. I have one more image I’m going to put together to finish off the series, but I thought you might like a break for at least the weekend.
I went searching for charismatic megafauna with a few friends the other day before it devolved into a “high-speed boat exit” marathon. We saw dozens of bottlenosed dolphins followed by a bunch of sea lions crowding a buoy by the quarry. They were hopping off and back on, giving us a great show.
Song of the Day: Built to Spill - Randy Describes Eternity
“Every thousand years a metal sphere ten times the size of Jupiter floats just a few yards from the earth. You climb on your roof and take a swipe at it with a single feather until you’ve worn it down to the size of a pea. Yeah, I’d say that’s a long time, but it’s only a half a blink in the place you’re gonna be. Where are you going to be? Where will you spend eternity? I’m going to be perfect from now on.”
Another all-time favorite.
