Shoot the Freak

This was a booth on the Coney Island boarwalk, the concept of which I found rather odd and disturbing. The place was empty since it was winter and fairly early in the morning. I’ll have to take a trip back sometime this summer to check out who “the freak” is, and what all this shooting is about.
So many colors in one small photo. You should definitely check out Coney Island in the summer. The concept of ”the freak” is certainly odd, but what’s really disturbing is the guy who advertises this ”activity”, harassing all the people passing by and trying to get them to shoot the freak. Oh, and while you’re in the neighborhood — get some Russian food from Tatyana’s restaurant further on the same boardwalk, at Brighton Beach.
Justin this is really great. The phrase really makes you do a double take, at first you don’t really believe it says that. What’s especially strange is that the letters in ”shoot” over on the top right are so separated, its like there was another letter in there that fell but you know there wasn’t….its strage. Great shot.
The freak is usually some poor tenage kid who has to desss up in a costume and let people take paintball potshots at him all summer for minimum wage.
