Raindrops Keep Falling

This is on the west coast of Vancouver Island, on the Juan de Fuca trail. Katie and I fought through four days of rain to complete it, with the few other people we saw on the first day dwindling to next to no one by the end. This was the second day, looking out over a waterfall by Sombrio Beach.
Song of the Day: Ben Folds Five - Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head
Ben Folds Five doing a cover that shouldn’t be awesome, but, I assure you, is.
i like this photo because it looks like katie is going to go spear fishing. also, that backpack is bigger than she is. thats funny to me.
Love this. Great tones and atmosphere.
Excellent work! Great framing, composition… and superb B&W!
Great shot - I love the clarity on Katie and the fog on the water. And I completely agree on the song. It is a totally great cover.
Wow, the scene has such an interpretable story, I see a hiker emerging from the trail and finding the lake, awesome image!
I love the feeling of this, it’s beautiful. I’m an avid backpacker, and moments like this are what make it so perfect.
