This is the more standard view of the Avalon casino (casino is Italian for “gathering place” - no gambling ever occurred there). I presented a lesser-seen view a few weeks ago. I presented this to a friend who said, “This reeks of environmental destruction”. I suppose it’s unnatural and the breakwater isn’t all that beautiful, but I actually like the casino. See a movie there if you can!

Tulls, this and the panoramic from a couple of days ago look like postcards from the Italian seaside or something. I first of all love that they are in black and white and not color, and I just always love how much range there is between your whites and your blacks. They are so well composed. I love that the left hand side of the casino as we look at it is almost completely white and it spans all the way across to almost completely black on the other side of it.
