I hate to start with the best and work my way down, but I just couldn’t come to grips with doing it any other way…
I just got back from Tanzania, and I snapped this shot when viewing a pride of lions from just 15 feet away or so in the eastern Serengeti. These were all youngsters, napping on each other and taking turns observing the savannah for food or danger. They really seemed oblivious to us, except for maybe the one in the middle. I’m not a huge cat person, but even I said ”awww…” when they took this pose.
I envy you and your ability to experience these things immensely. Also, I would agree that you must enter this photo in a contest or get it published- it is fantastic!
