Stuck Here Waiting For A Passing Feeling

I find the demographics of opticDistraction’s viewership to be very bizarre. It is pretty much comprised of friends, family, and photobloggers. As a result, I would expect that this image would be odd at best to everyone that visits. However, when I made this when I was 21, it summed up a lot about what I was feeling, and right now those feelings are around again as I work through some crumbling friendships and what appears to be a stolen camera. My 300D was just repaired and sent back to me, but it was stolen from our school’s mailroom, presumably by a student. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough money to replace it, so… yeah. This image is a reminder of better times to come.
definitely a bizarre demographic! i cant help but feel like i contribute to that.
it’s very disconcerting to hear about your camera.
i kind of resolved to not comment on this unless there was something that really took my breath away. i almost commented on what you posted on the 13th, not because of the picture, but because of the description. and i guess here it’s kind of the same situation (plus the outrage of reading about your stolen camera). what i like about photoblogs is that each photo comes with personal insight. uhh.. a point.. i’m sorry about your camera and i appreciate this site giving me something new to look at each day. and the ”descriptions” are often just as interesting as the photographs.
I remember this photo. I missed this photo.
Stunning threatment… i haven’t seen anything quite like it!
Sorry to hear about your camera. This is a beautiful and thought-provoking photo. The background reminds me of PLP.
