Something in the Water

Contrary to how it would seem, Saiward is not sadly watching as we depart Santa Barbara Island. This was taken as we first arrived, with perhaps a bit of nervousness on her part regarding the clouds and thousands of huge pinnipeds guarding our entry. I’m quite pleased with this image as I love photos that make the viewer ask, “what’s the background to this photo?”. Just looking at it, you could create a lot of scenarios as to why this scene looks the way it does.
Song of the Day: Soltero - Poughkeepsie’s Always Proud
Soltero is a long time favorite of mine that nearly no one has ever heard of. I saw him play at Colby College my junior year, and was hooked on his album Science Will Figure You Out. Poughkeepsie starts with gentle rhodes keys and some lightly strummed acoustic guitar which builds into a beautiful song about small town life. Highly Recommended!
wicked cool way to capture the suspense of the moment Tully. you can see it in her eyes as she ponders what might happen next.
A very good shot… probably taken in the seventies ;-)
I love the muted colors and the composition.
