Song of the Day: Sufjan Stevens - Ring My Bell (Bob Dylan Cover)
I love Sufjan Stevens covers because he doesn’t try to be any one but himself. Every cover he does becomes a Sufjan Stevens song while still displaying his respect for the artist’s original. In this case, he takes a lesser-known Bob Dylan song and makes it feel like it could be a B-Side to Illinois… and shares the magnificent musicianship of that album.
