Pink Rose

With Tully’s posting schedule reduced for the next month based on his location, I’m going to make an effort to post every day. No promises, but I’ll do my best.
As for the image, this was a surprising rose growing up the side of a building on Amersterdam Avenue.
Love this one. The left side looks like a contemporary painting. Interesting to see it juxtaposed against the traditional flower. And is that ivy?
Love the treatment of your photos….
I like the bits of red (pink) seen through the trellis, especially in relation to the flower.
The graphic, golden mean quality and simplicity of the one flower is beautiful. Great work!
Thanks for stopping by Justin, I really enjoyed your photography and will make sure to visit often! Once again you are proving that its not what you look at its what you see!
Just wonderful! This is that ”design sense” that I was talking about on the next post!
Thanks for the comments everyone.
chacha: You can check out the post processing tutorial I wrote up if you’re interested in how I do the treatment.
Thanks Julie!
the shadows and the colors at this image are fantastic
