…is not like the others. This is a cormorant among a bunch of brown pelicans near the east end of Catalina. These big buoys always offer some great opportunities for photographs, whether they’ve been taken over by sea lions, pelicans, or any combination of marine creatures.

This haunting little folk song recalls some of my favorite moments from Mazzy Star in the hypnotic vocals and distant strings. This has been my favorite song to fall asleep to lately, and I would guess that all who listen to it would be hypnotized as well.

Ok, fantasy football and ”v”’s competitive nature ASIDE, I think its a great shot t. I especially like the pelican on the far right with its mouth wide open - it makes him seem like the odd man (bird) out instead of the cormorant.
What a beautiful shot! Very well suited to B&W and I agree, the pelican with its mouth open caught my eye as well.
