Japanese Maple

I had a successful walk to the bagel shop yesterday morning. Both in the sense that I got bagels, and took some decent photographs. Here’s one of a Japanese Maple along the way. A photo, not a bagel. A Japanese Maple bagel would be nasty.

I agree, the colors are great. For whatever reason, the colors and positioning of the bottom leaflet remind me of the way fireworks look after exploding and burning out as they fall.
