When I walked by these guys, the standing guy was trying to wake his friend and get him out of there. When he saw me looking at him with my camera over my shoulder, he flagged me down and asked that I take a picture as he stood there proudly. This was the result. I didn’t get his name, email, or anything. So, I’m not quite sure why he wanted me to take a pictures so badly. Anyway, I thought it was a pretty funny situation. For those of you who haven’t made it to Oktoberfest yet, it’s not at all uncommon to see people leaning up against the walls sleeping, passed out, puking, or worse. It’s a crazy time, I’ll tell ya.
i often get flagged down, especially in 3rd world countries, by random people on the street who want their photo taken for no other reason than having their photo taken. at first, i thought it was odd they didn’t want a copy of the photo but i guess in some cultures it’s just cool to get your photo taken by a foreigner with a big camera:)
