So, I messed this shot up, and it irritates me. I wish that the matchheads were in focus. But, I like the light and the colors, so I figured I’d post it anyway. These are some candles sitting on the kitchen counter in my mom’s house. By the time that I realized that I’d misfocused the sun had moved and the light wasn’t falling on the counter anymore. Maybe I’ll try to retake this if I encounter similar light again.

Nah, I actually really like the DOF. I think the focus being mainly on the glass, really draws you into the lighting you talking about.
