And the Earth Mimicked the Sky

In addition to enjoying half and half photography, I was also drawn to this image because of the similar geometry in the clouds and the bushes dotting the desert landscape. Catalina is quite a bit more brown than when I left in June (and the kelp forests have all but disappeared as well because of the warm water), and I’m excited to explore the new landscape through the photographs.
